Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how visitors interact with our site. This includes page views, click interactions, scroll depth, and time on page. No personally identifiable information is collected by default.

Analytics Providers

We use three analytics providers, each with different privacy characteristics:

OpenPanel

Privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies. Collects anonymous page view and interaction data to help us understand traffic patterns. Loads automatically on every visit -- no consent required because no personal data is stored on your device.

Google Analytics (GA4)

Sets cookies for visitor identification and session tracking. Only activated after you accept cookies via the consent banner. Collects page views, event interactions, and anonymous demographic data. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.

GoHighLevel

CRM tracking for form attribution and lead source identification. Only activated after you accept cookies via the consent banner. Tracks page views to attribute enquiries to the correct marketing channel.

Your Choices

When you first visit the site, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the page with two options:

  • Accept -- enables Google Analytics and GoHighLevel tracking cookies alongside the always-active OpenPanel analytics.
  • Decline -- only OpenPanel (cookieless) analytics remain active. No tracking cookies are set.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner does not reappear on subsequent visits. To change your preference at any time, click Cookie Settings in the footer.

Data Retention

  • OpenPanel -- data retained per the OpenPanel platform defaults.
  • Google Analytics -- 14 months (GA4 default), configurable in our GA4 property settings.
  • GoHighLevel -- retained within our CRM for lead attribution purposes.

We do not sell or share analytics data with third parties beyond the stated providers.

Our Apps and AI Processing

This section applies when you install or use one of our apps or tools, including apps installed through third-party marketplaces. Ampware.io is a trading name of MK Systems Ltd, which is the data controller for this processing.

What we process

Only the data a tool needs to do its job. Depending on the tool, that can include the content it works on (such as message text or recent messages in a conversation), account and location IDs, and the access tokens a platform issues when you connect an app.

AI providers

Some tools send that content to third-party AI providers, such as TypeSafe, to produce a result. These providers act as our processors and use the content only to return that result.

Retention

  • Content -- processed to produce a result. We do not keep it longer than the tool needs, and we do not record it in our service logs.
  • Operational logs -- technical metadata (such as account ID, result and response time) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Access tokens -- kept while an app is installed. Uninstall the app to stop all processing.

Legal basis

We process this data to provide the service you installed and asked us to run (performance of a contract). Where you process your own customers' data through our tools, you remain responsible for having a lawful basis and giving them any notices required by law.
